Backup to NFS shares
Backup and replication of backups to an NFS share can be performed by Agent for Linux, Agent for VMware (Virtual Appliance), or Linux-based bootable media.
Enable Windows Services for NFS on Acronis Management Server machine when creating a centralized unmanaged vault or on Acronis Storage Node machine when creating a centralized managed vault: open Control Panel, go to Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off, and then select the Services for NFS check box and its nested check boxes.
NFS shares are listed in the /etc/exports configuration file.
Backing up to a shared folder you need to specify the path as follows:
nfs://<servername>/<share>:/
Backing up to a subfolder you need to specify the path as follows:
nfs://<servername>/<share>:/<subfolder>
E.g. /home/tester *(rw,sync,no_subtree_check,no_root_squash) is exported to /etc/exports
Backing up to /home/tester specify nfs://servername/home/tester:/
Backing up to /home/tester/subfolder specifynfs://servername/home/tester:/subfolder
