SCS KB 1071: Known restore issues with XFS File system error

Applies to:

• Cyber Backup/Protect products during recovery, and XFS File Systems

Use Case:

Recovering from a back up on an XFS File System device.

Symptoms:

When recovering from a backed up image you receive one of these following error/warnings:

Error 0x1d032b: Failed to process the boot loader configuration.

Error 0x4007: Error occurred while opening the file.

Warning: W00000000: Cannot complete File operation over system partition of Linux -cannot open for write

Root Cause:

Acronis only supports XFS file system in read only mode. There is a development task to fix this.

Solution:

None at this time. The server boots up fine and appears to have restored correctly, despite the error.
