SCS KB 1019: Deploying the Acronis Cyber Backup Agent with PDQ Deploy

Use Case

A user wants to mass deploy the agent to multiple computers at a time. 

Solution

1. Run the Acronis Cyber Backup Installer and select “Create .mst and .msi files for unattended installation.
   
2. Click on “What to install”
3. From the list select the appropriate components. For a machine running just the agent, please select Agent for Windows, Command Line Tools, and Backup Monitor.
   
4. Click Modify and next specify the management server the agent will connect to.
   
5. Enter the IP and then click done. Optional: IF REQUIRED change the default “Connect without authentication” only if your management server is configured to not accept anonymous registrations.
   
6. Click proceed then specify the location for the files to be generated.
7. Upload all .cab, the .msi and .mst files to your PDQ server.
8. Configure your PDQ package as displayed below:
   1. Make sure the entire directory is selected as noted.
