Use Case:
Upgrading to Acronis SCS Cyber Backup 12.5 Hardened Edition on a Linux OS.
Solution:
If you are running a version of Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 prior to Update 5 on Linux, you can run the Acronis SCS Cyber Backup 12.5 Hardened Edition in-place to upgrade, but it is highly recommended you uninstall the software first, as this can cause issues that are difficult to troubleshoot.
This is to be prevented in future releases as this is not currently supported. If running the Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5.16180 or higher, it is advised to uninstall that version manually before installing Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 SCS Hardened Edition.
