Use Case
This article addresses the process of attempting to deploy an image via PXE Boot to a system that does not support UEFI.
Symptoms
Attempts to PXE Boot to the system results in the following error:
- NBP too big to fit in free base memory
Root Cause
This error may occur when the PXE client machine does not support UEFI mode when acquiring the Snap Deploy UEFI binary (eg. bootx64.efi) from the PXE server.
Solution
The DHCP server must be configured to use bootwiz.bin boot file for systems that do not support UEFI.
By default these files can be located within \Program Files\Acronis\PXEServer
