What do you need to know?
- The Acronis SCS Cryptographic Module was moved to the CMVP historical list due to an SP 800-56Arev3 transition change causing a compliance issue. Acronis SCS has changed the cryptographic module in its software, Acronis Cyber Backup SCS 12.5 Hardened Edition v4.9, to the KeyPair FIPS Object Module for OpenSSL (certificate #3503) to maintain CMVP and DoDIN APL compliance.
- The hardware, software, and/or firmware remains otherwise unchanged from Acronis SCS Cyber Backup SCS Hardened Edition Server and SCS Hardened Edition Agent Rel. 12.5 TN 1924001.
- Acronis SCS will return the Acronis Cryptographic Module (certificate #3773) to the software when FIPS validation is complete.
- We see no signs of any vulnerability based on the temporary change of our cryptographic module.
